Maddie was born 21 December 2021 in Canada at Chantryile Kennels. We are so thankful to Greg and Eleanor for allowing us a puppy from this wonderful litter.
Can GrCh/BISS, Am GCh, U-GCh/BIS, ATChC Celebre Journey to Chantryile Am NAJ, NA, HIC (Journey ) is Maddie’s sire. We met Journey in 2018 when we went to the American Nationals and loved his temperament, working ability and all over type. He is that perfect combination of brains, beauty and type backed up by achievements in both conformation and dog sports. Journey is also a Best of Breed winner at the famous Westminster Show in England.
Can GCh, Am GCh/BISS, U-Ch/RBIS Chantryile Heart of Gold ADC AGDC (Madison) is the dam and was such a brilliant mother to this litter. She demonstrates beauty, brains, type and again all backed up by fabulous achievements in dog sports and conformation.
Maddie arrived in Australia late November 2022 and was released from quarantine December 2022. We are eternally thankful to Steve and Renee for raising her in Canada and giving her a wonderful start. Maddie left Steve and Renee’s at 11 months which was heartbreaking for them both - it is never easy to raise a puppy and then let it go. Renee also has Maddie’s Uncle ‘Khan” who is the litter brother to Maddie’s mother Madison. To keep the connections going Renee also had a half-brother to Kiss and Lany called ‘Arrow’ who was a Fax son and a wonderful special Belgian.
Maddies first year in Australia were spent getting to know her and building a relationship with her. We have done lots of socialisation and training but mostly we just let her settle in with us at our new property and with her new pack. Maddie is easy to love and have around and has fitted in like it was all meant to be.

Maddie is vocal in a really cute way, loves to be involved in everything, learns very quickly and is fun to train. She is super destructive with toys, gets on with all dogs and is very athletic. We have started training Maddie in Rally, Tricks over this first year to help get to know each other.
Mid 2023, at her first Belgian Specialty in Queensland, Maddie won Best Junior Groenendael on the first day and Best Junior in Show on the second day.
Late 2023 we started competing with Maddie in Trick competitions and Rally Obedience in February 2024.
2024 has already been a fabulous year for Maddie with her earning a title in Rally Obedience, a title in Trick Dogs and her Australian Champion title all in the first five months. Three titles in different disciplines, over such a short time, shows Maddie’s versatility, beauty and brains.💗❣️

5 May 2024 - Maddie earns her final points and a Best in Group to become an AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION.
15 February 2024 - Maddie earns her final two passes for her Rally Novice (RN.) title with scores of 96/100 and 97/100.
13 January 2024 -Maddie earns her Tricks Starter (TK.S) title in a competition where dogs do tricks and get assessed by a judge.
